Do I need to complete my profile?
No, you do not. But if you do not, your account will not be viewable to careseekers and you will not be matched with any open job postings. In addition, you will not be able to apply to any jobs on line. It is also important to be as thorough as possible when filling out your profile as the more experienced caregivers tend to get jobs faster and at a higher wage.

How much should I charge for my services?
This is a difficult question to answer because it depends not only on your skill set but on the amount of care a Careseeker needs. Typically, if Careseeker needs a companion / Caregiver, a rate of between $11 and $15 per hour is acceptable. If you are a CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) you can ask for between $13 and $20 per hour. What you have to understand is that if you are a great Caregiver, you may be able to ask and receive a higher hourly wage that an average Caregiver.

How do I search and apply for a job?
If you want to search for a job, go to your account Menu and look for the "Job Listings & Matches" link. Click that link and it will take you to a page where a listing of all jobs within 20 miles of your address. You can search and filter the job list. To view a job, click the job number that is highlighted as a hot link to show the job details. To apply for a job, click on the "Apply for Job" link in the job details.

How do I send messages?
In your account Menu you will see a link titled "View My Messages." If you have any pending messages to be read, you will see a heart with a number inside it on the Messages icon on your status bar indicating the number of messages. In order to send a message, go to the message screen by clicking the "View My Messages" link in your Menu. You will see an icon on the top left corner "Send a Message." Just click that icon and a pop up message dialog box will be displayed. You can then create your message. Select whom you wish to send message to (you will see options below where you enter you message) in the dialog box.

How do I read and/or respond to messages?
If you have any pending messages to be read, you will see a heart with a number inside it on the Messages icon on your status bar. The number indicates how many new or unread messages you have. In order to read a message, click the Message icon (an envelope). You will then see a listing of your messages. Unread messages are highlighted. Just click on the message you are interesting in viewing and a dialog box will open up displaying the message. You can reply to that message in that dialog box.

Can I work for more than one Careseeker?
Yes, you can work for as many Careseekers as you wish, and ask for a different hourly rate (which would be dependent on the services and care required, the day(s) of the week, and if it is a holiday or not). Of course you cannot work for two careseekers at the same time unless their accounts are "joined." Note: You will have a background check requested by every Carereeker that hires you.

Why does the Caregiver have control to change past hours worked and not the Careseeker?
Well Beyond Care knows that the majority of Careseekers will be fair to the domestic employees they hire for home care. In some cases there are occasional discrepancies or oversights on hours worked. To rectify these occasional errors, Well Beyond Care allows only the Caregivers to manipulate the schedule for hours they have worked to ensure fairness to both parties. Upon any changes, the Careseeker will have to confirm the changes as being accurate and has the authority to approve any changes.
